Pat Tapia is a world travelling photographer based out of Toronto, Canada. Born in Santiago, Chile he moved to Canada at a young age. Shortly thereafter, he acquired a taste for travel and set about documenting his journeys through the lens of his camera. Transformative in their simplicity and scale, the images belie the restless spirit of a globetrotter, bringing into focus the grandeur of nature and attention to subtle detail. A distillation of natural and man-made forms, the subjects present a dialogue between our every-day and extraordinary experience, challenging the tangible borders and boundaries of the environment that contains us.
